Spanish North Africa is a collection of five small Spanish territories located in North Africa. The territories are Alhucemas, Ceuta, the Chafarinas Islands, Melilla, and Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera. Its existence is controversial, with Morocco claiming all of the territory. They are the last pieces of European territory on the African continent.
