The Spackenkill Union Free School District, usually referred to as the Spackenkill School District, consists of 4 schools. It is named for New York State Route 113 known locally as Spackenkill Road. The road bisects most of the district. People who live on or near Spackenkill Road attend Hagan Elementary School. Those who live on or near US 9 where it passes through the district attend Nassau Elementary School. The attendants of these two elementary schools merge together upon entering the 6th grade at Orville A. Todd Middle School.Upon entering 9th grade, students will then attend Spackenkill High School.
