Space Age Batchelor Pad Music (sic) is an album by the band Stereolab, originally released in March 1993. Strongly contrasted, Space Age Batchelor Pad Music offers a mix that floats between Krautrock ("We're Not Adult Oriented") and dream pop / easy listening music. Those two genres can be clearly identified. The album cover actually says "Space Age BATCHELOR Pad Music" which could be a typo, as the tracks of the same name are correctly spelled.
The album gets its name from a popular description of the music of band leader and composer Esquivel. On the vinyl version, the label on side two carries the logo of the original 1960s Stereolab record label from which the group took their name.
