SPARCstation ZX

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The SPARCstation ZX is a variant of the SPARCstation LX computer workstation produced by Sun Microsystems. The case is identical, except for the nametag on the front of the case that reads "SPARCstation ZX" instead of "SPARCstation LX". It is a misconception that the ZX label only refers to a graphics card. The SPARCstation ZX is an actual machine, albeit very rare. It improves on the LX with an enhanced framebuffer.

It was introduced in August 1993 and was end-of-lifed in March 1994. The original price was US $19,995.00.

It features an RJ45 Ethernet port.
