SPAM of Nepal

SPAM of Nepal is the name given to a coalition of the Seven Party Alliance and Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) (CPN-Maoist), that is currently in power in Nepal.

This coalition government came into existence as a result of the Loktantra Andolan (People's Movement for Democracy II), which led to King Gyanendra relinquishing power in April of 2006.

The coalition is under criticism as it has yet to hold elections for a constituent assembly.
