Sowmya

Sowmya (Sanskrit, "soft," "smooth") can be one of the following:
- a description of something as gentle. It has also been used as a name for Indian women.
- an acclaimed singer in classical Carnatic music.
- the name for lord Shiva.
- In Sanskrit Sowmya means "son of moon"
- Sowmya is also name of a famous goddess in Indian Mythology "Durga Devi", Sowmya is hence used as name for Indian Women.
