[edit] Clean-up of Petersburg group

I've attempted a clean up of the language. There's one thing that I'm not sure about. Were the illusrations of E.T.A Hoffman and Crime and Punishment, or were they based on Hoffman's illustrations of Crime and Punishment (Hoffman was an artist as well as a writer).--Ethicoaestheticist 15:59, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
