Sovetskoye Shampanskoye (Советское Шампанское, 'Soviet Champagne') is a generic brand of sparkling wine produced in the Soviet Union and successor states. It was produced for many years as a state-run initiative (see advertising poster to the right).

After the USSR was dismantled, private corporations in Russia and Belarus purchased the rights to use "Soviet Champagne" as a brand name and began manufacture once again. "Soviet Champagne" is still being produced in Russia and Belarus today, by these private companies, using the original generic title as a brand name.

Sovetskoye Shampanskoye is now available in Britain under the Sparkling 1917 brand. It is produced in Belarus at the Minsk sparkling wine factory, Minskaya Zavodvin. Sparkling 1917 is imported by Iron Wolf Ltd who state that product is a premium sparkling wine with all the qualities of fine champagne.
