Sovereign of the Seas was a clipper ship constructed in the 1800s by ship builder Donald McKay of East Boston in the U.S.A.. She was built for James Baines & Co. of the Black Ball Line, Liverpool for the Australia trade. She was lost when a fire onboard burnt it to its waterline in Sydney Harbour, Australia.
