SoulblighterEric is a fictional character created in an article written for "The Onion" spoof news site. In an article published on November 10, 2004, and titled "I Must Take Issue With The Wikipedia Entry For 'Weird Al' Yankovic", another fictional character whose Wikipedia name is given as misterhand43 describes his confrontation with SoulblighterEric on the Discussion page for the Weird Al article.
