Couldn't this be seperated into those that were "Southern" and those that are (currently). Simply south 19:45, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

I personally think it should be separated into those that were named or called 'Southern Railway' and those that simply contain 'Southern Railway' in their name. (Some theories of disambig pages state that the latter shouldn't even be included). Matthew Brown (Morven) (T:C) 21:49, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Southern Railroad/Railway of "State"

There seem to be a bunch of Southern Railroad/Railway of State (e.g., of Mississippi) entries. Even if there is any evidence that these were ever legitimate lines separate from the Southern Railway (US), their names are ill-formed here. I'm going to fix the link formations and if nobody complains, in a week I'm going to eliminate the entries. Mangoe 18:03, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
