Maybe this is easy for someone else to cite, but I can't find an official (e.g. City of Vancouver) source for this somewhat illogical name. If you look at Granville as a whole, the area from False Creek to 16th is definitely in the northern-most third of it. I know names aren't always logical but "South Granville" would very accurately describe Granville south of, say 41st. Anyways, labels are labels, nothing more — just looking for a source for this one. --Ds13 22:13, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

I should clarify; I know there are "official" city street signs with "South Granville" on them in this neighbourhood, but is there a city link somewhere that calls this South Granville? For example, this map doesn't get any more detailed than "Fairview": http://vancouver.ca/nist/nist_teamarea.cfm --Ds13 22:16, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
