I made a bunch of updates including new sections and moving things around. This includes creating a MEMBERS SECTIONS and making sub-sections under CONCERT. The ON TOUR and TIME IS ART sections have been removed. I put this information into other more relevant sections to help it flow. I also built the SIDE PROJECTS section today including writing and documenting these performances. The band has really accomplised alot in their short career.

I can't wait to fill out the HISTORY section. I would like to do a short bit for year by year. The current information under Notable Concert Peformances could then be rewritten to fit those sections. We could also put when they changed their name and what albums were released under each year. I am sure you get the idea.

Thanks for reading!

Thank you FELIX and TREVOR. You guys rock! I love what you wrote and what you did with the article. Keep up the great work.

I just added some more citations and moved some sections around. Check out Phish, Grateful Dead, or any bands you like for ideas on what other Wikipedia entries for ideas. I would love to rework the history and notable concert performances into a history section timeline.

Thanks again, Cory

I know its January now but I am working on the STS9 section! I just reviewed all the information about citations and now I am going to gather the information. I have a source for almost everything that is written here except the places that are clearly me just being nice and kind. The band has appeared in hundreds of articles and reviews on the web, and recently was in half a dozen mainstream paper magazines available at the news stand. STS9 also meets many of the "central criterion" put forward at Wikipedia making them notable for inclusion here.

Thank you for your patience.

Love and light, Cory

Since I wrote the bulk of the material in the STS9 entry, I am going to attempt to rewrite it this month (December 2006). I'm starting to understand what is needed for this entry and I believe I can make it sound less like an advertisement. I write in a style that was trying to get people to go see the band live!! I think the first few sections are great but it goes into details that are probably not needed. I do believe the purpose of the entry should be to describe their music and their live shows in a non-bias way so people who don't know anything about the band can get a good idea about them, and what to expect when they go to a show.

I have been listening to the band since 2000, and seen them over 100 times. I feel very strong about making this entry the best it can be within the guidelines at Wiki. They are an amazing band, a great group of guys, and deserve all the best in the world.

I will also be adding a section about their side projects with a list of side project band name, who is in the band, and some other tidbits about them.

I finally got a Wikipedia account, so maybe you can send me a message if needed.

Thank you, Cory

I agree, this article should be kept. For god's sake, I live in the middle of nowhere in Alabama, and I've heard of these people T-1 22:20, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

however, I do like to point out, the article needs some major cleanup, with citations and whatnot T-1 01:57, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

STS9 is absolutely relevant. This article should not be deleted. I'm new to editing Wikipedia, but I will definitely do my part to clean up this article to the correct standards. For starters, I've added at least one reference, and it will not be difficult to add lots more. Runawayjim8 16:37, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Why on earth would this not be relevant? I'm removing the tag.

I added a bit about their emission offset effort for their upcoming tour. However, I don't know if I referenced it correctly. The article is from jambase, but I think they just reprinted it from a STS9 press-release. Can somebody with a little more knowledge on reliable sources help? Is this still considered a reliable source? I will do a bit of research myself...still learning!Runawayjim8 19:30, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Hey, this is Felix, ive been a fan for a while. i just edited the concert section and threw in a new section describing their music. Ive tried to reference everything. Hopefully this will prove their notability!!!

Trevor here, new to discussion. I edited the concert and tours section, trying to make them a little more objective (less like 'advertising'). Still quite a few citations needed.

[edit] Notability

Hi, I've just added (back) the Notability tag for several reasons. First, I would suggest reading the guidelines so that this particular question can be addressed here on the talk page and put to rest.

Next, since the members of the band are living, we will need to pay even stricter attention to verifiabilty guidelines than normal. At present, very little of the information cites sources. As there are references to living individuals the Biographies of living persons guidelines apply. Thanks! Mdbrownmsw 15:35, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm very familiar with WP:MUSIC, thank you, and a regular participant in AfD discussions, and I really don't see how anyone could overlook the very obvious claims of regular nationwide touring, but if that's not enough for you (and it certainly should be), I've added a cite for their appearance on Billboard charts. Any more questions? Xtifr tälk 10:25, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

-STS9 was discussed/played on NPR sunday night music show, their music was also feautred on CSI in I believe two episodes, if anyone has the time to reference that it would be great imo.-02 dec, 2006

-The songs were "Possibilities" and "Peoples (Cause and Effect Remix)" on CSI:NY episodes #219 and #220.
