Southwick Priory

Southwick Priory is an English Heritage site in Southwick, near Portsmouth, Hampshire, England.

Home to 'rich' Augustinian monks in the twelfth century. On the dissolution of the monasteries during the Reformation it became part of the Southwick estate.

Little remains of the Augustinian Priory. The current Southwick church contains some of the original priory features. Birch Chadwick was one of the most famous monk to live at this site
