Southwest Stakes

The Southwest Stakes is a race for thoroughbred horses held on President's Day Weekend at Oaklawn Park. The Southwest Stakes is open to three-year-olds willing to race one mile on the dirt. An ungraded stakes event, it offers a purse of $250,000.
The race is a prep to the Rebel Stakes and the Arkansas Derby.
