Southern Scout Province is one of six scout Provinces in Ireland. Southern Scout Province was formed on January 1, 2004 after the two original Scout associations in Ireland, Scouting Ireland S.A.I. and Scouting Ireland (CSI) merged to form Scouting Ireland. The current Provincial Commissioner is Michael John Shinnock and the Provincial Support Officer is Neil Collins
