Southern Natural Gas, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, is a natural gas pipeline company, which is a division of El Paso Corporation. The company was a division of Sonat Inc until 1999 when Sonat and El Paso merged. Southern Natural Gas owns 50% of Citrus Corp. which owns Florida Gas Transmission.
