Southern Guilford High School

Southern Guilford High School was founded in 1973 in the Sumner area of Guilford County, North Carolina.

Southern Guilford's original mascot was the Indian, but that was changed in 2004 when the school was renamed the Storm. Southern Guilford's colors are maroon and gold.

In 2005 Southern Guilford was turned into a magnet school in Guilford County for the study of agriculture, math, and science.

Southern Guilfords rivals include Trinity High School and Southeast Guilford High School.
