Southern Cross Television, or Southern Cross, is an Australian television network available in Tasmania, Darwin, and regional South Australia. The network is affiliated with the Seven Network and Network Ten.

There are only a few shows made by Southern Cross Television currently aired:

  • Southern Cross Nightly News (Tasmania Only)
  • Hook, Line and Sinker (now airing on TDT)
  • Renovation Relief
  • Targa Tasmania (Tasmania Only)

Although, in the past, various birthday specials, telethons and locally produced TV shows have been aired. Quiz Quest (childrens game show), The Saturday night show (variety), Down the line (morning talk/local events), Targa Tasmania (annually), The Saturday Morning Fun Show (kids), Tasmanian New Faces (talent), Launceston Cup (OB) and so on.

Southern Cross Tasmania's flagship news bulletin is aired live from the Launceston studios 7 days a week with updates throughout the day.

Southern Cross Darwin only rebroadcasts Seven News, and does not have its own local news bulletin.

Southern Cross GTS/BKN's local news bulletin, Central News, was revamped and renamed Southern Cross News, in line with the recent name change. This bulletin is broadcast on Southern Cross GTS/BKN at 6.30pm, after Seven News. The current newsreader is Selga Berzins.

Commonly reffered to as Seven Central. Available via satellite in all areas of Australia (except Western Australia) which can not receive adequate terrestrial transmissions by normal means.

Southern Cross is affiliated with both the metropolitan Seven Network and Network Ten. This originates from the aggregation of the Tasmanian and Darwin television market. This dual affiliation is shared with Southern Cross Tasmania and Southern Cross Darwin).
