The Southern Cameroon national football team is not internationally recognized. It represents English-speaking peoples of the Southern Cameroons (now West Cameroun).
Southern Cameroon is neither a member of FIFA nor the CAF and does not participate in international tournaments. The goal of the Holland-based Southern Cameroon Football Association, which was formed in 2005 and controls the team, is to gain official status. They are provisional members of the New Federations Board, which organizes matches for non-official national teams. They initially intended to compete in the inaugural VIVA World Cup, but had to withdraw from all their matches.
