Southern California Linux Expo

The Southern California Linux Expo is an annual Linux, Open-Source, and Free Software conference held in Los Angeles, CA. This is one of three community run open-source events in the United States.
The Southern California Linux also known as SCALE has been held annually since 2002. The event features an expo floor with both commercial and .org / non-profit exhibitors, as well as 2 days of seminars on the topic of Linux and Open Source software. Some past exhibitors have included: IBM, Sharp, MySQL, Debian, KDE, OpenDocuemnt Fellowship, Google, MythTV, and others.

- 2002: SCALE 1x Los Angeles, CA (December 2, 2002): Held at the USC Davidson Conference Center.
- 2003: SCALE 2x Los Angeles, CA (November 22, 2003) Held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
- 2005: SCALE 3x Los Angeles, CA (February 12 - February 13, 2005) Held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
- 2006: SCALE 4x Los Angeles, CA (February 10 - February 12, 2006) Held at the Radisson Hotel at Los Angeles Airport.
- 2007: SCALE 5x Los Angeles, CA (February 9 - February 11, 2007) Held at the Westin Los Angeles Airport.
