Southern Air

Southern Air is an airline based in Norwalk, Connecticut, USA. It operates wet leasing of Boeing 747 cargo aircraft to international air cargo carriers and freight forwarders. Its main base is Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. [1]

The airline was established on 10 March 1999 out of the assets of Southern Air Transport and started operations in November 1999. It is owned by Carmit Neff (50%) and James Neff (50%) and has 176 employees. [1]
