Southeast Division (NHL)

The NHL's Southeast Division was formed in 1998 as part of the Eastern Conference due to expansion. The past two Stanley Cup Champions (2004 and 2006) are members of this division.

  • The NHL Southeast has connections with the NFL's NFC South. 3 of their cities (Carolina, Atlanta, & Tampa Bay) are in both divisions while one of their mascots (Panthers) is used by Carolina and Florida in the NFL and NHL respectively.
