South window

South Window is a town in the fictional world of Konami's Suikoden series. It comes into major focus in the game Suikoden 2, wherein forces from Highland in the North have invaded the Citystate of Jowston, a collection of regions in the Dunan area, that have formed an alliance. South Window was once the capital of the Country of Dunan, many years before the events of Suikoden 2, however Lady Anabelle's father (Darcell) moved the Capital to Muse, a large Town to the north of Lake Dunan.
The South Window Region consists of four towns. The biggest town by far is South Window, which has its own government which was run by Lord Grenmeyer before his murder by Solon Jhee. Its sister town, North Window, lies to the Northwest of South Window. Kuskus town lies directly north and Radat lies to the east.
North Window City was the hometown of Viktor, before Yuber, Windy and Neclord destroyed it. Viktor was the only survivor as he was on an errand to South Window at the time of the attack. The city remained desolate and inhabitable until Lord Granmeyer asks for Riou to investigate disappearances of young girls aound that area. They find that Neclord has decided to make North Window his home, but Viktor comes up with a plan and goes to recruit the Star Dragon Sword, the only sword that can hurt Neclord. Soon Neclord flees after realising Viktor wont give up the sword. The refugees from the newly overtaken Muse, Leona and Flik move into the unoccupied North Window and set itup as their HQ.
Radat Town, in the East, lies on the River Dunan, which leads down into the Toran Western Forest, where Rokkaku is hidden. It is this town Lord Riou recruits his major strategist Shu, along with Richmond the PI.
Kuskus Town lays on the south shore of Lake Dunan, somewhat parallel to Coronet, on the Northern Shore.
After the Dunan Unification War, South Window entered a pact with Muse and formed the Republic of Dunan (along with Two River, Knightdom of Matilda, and Greenhill.)

- Alex and Hilda appear in the 2nd floor of the Inn after North Window has been liberated.
- Adlai the inventor has a house to the east of the traders.
- Gantetsu will join after the events in Tinto.
- Freed Y joins automatically.
- Killey appears after the Night Raid events.
- Maximillain also appears after Night Raid events.
- Clive is found in South Window.
