South Thames College is a large general further education college, established over 100 years ago in London, England. South Thames College operates from a number of sites in the London Borough of Wandsworth: including Putney, Wandsworth, Tooting, Roehampton and Battersea. The college embarked on an extensive redevelopment of its Wandsworth site in August 2006. Each year, over 21,000 students from around the world - from teenagers to pensioners - study at the college. The college receives funding from the Learning and Skills Council of England.

Teaching facilities include hair and beauty salons that are open to the public, TV and radio studios, multi-media, music technology, engineering and IT suites. The college has been awarded Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) awards for its Health and Social Care and Music Technology departments. Courses range from full-time courses like Hairdressing, Computing, Design, Performing Arts, Construction, Photography, Sports Coaching, and Childcare, to evening classes in subjects like Yoga, Clothesmaking, and Birdwatching. South Thames College also has a full range of English courses under the title of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

South Thames College also has a successful Skills for Life School, which runs courses in literacy, numeracy and IT in response to demand from employers and the local community. It also has a programme of Supported Learning courses for students with learning difficulties or more severe barriers to learning.
