South Lake High School is a school in Groveland, Florida and one of seven public high schools in Lake County. The school serves Groveland, Clermont, Mascotte, Minneola, and other cities in South Lake County.

South Lake High School is a combination of two rival schools. The Clermont Highlanders and the Groveland Greenbacks were consolidated to form one school. The school started operation in August of 1993.

South Lake High School started out with approximately 1100 students, 700 from Clermont and 400 from Groveland. The school has grown to about 1,800 students.

The Florida Department of Education gave the school a "C" rating in the 2006 school year. It had a C rating in 2005, and a D in 2004.
