South Kurdufan

South Kurdufan (Arabic: جنوب كردفان; transliterated: Janub Kurdufan) is one of the 26 wilayat or states of Sudan. It has an area of 79,470 km² and an estimated population of approximately 1,100,000 people (2000). Kaduqli is the capital of the state.
