The United States South Atlantic Squadron was a component of the United States Navy following the American Civil War until the early 1900s.

A logical outgrowth of the South Atlantic Blockading Squadron, the Squadron was comprised of various ships which patrolled the Eastern coast of South America.

This area of responsibility was assigned to the newly-formed United States Atlantic Fleet in 1906.
