South American Club Championship 1948

South American Club Championship (Portuguese: Campeonato Sul-americano de Clubes Campeões, Spanish: Copa de Campeones Sudamericanos) was a competition played by some 1947's champions throughout South America, held in Santiago, Chile in 1948. Won by Vasco da Gama, the tournament is considered by Conmebol the forerunner of the Libertadores.

- Colo-Colo (Chile) - National champions of 1947 and hosts
- Emelec (Ecuador) - Guayaquil champions of 1946/1948(no national championship on 1947)
- Lítoral (Bolivia) - La Paz champions of 1947
- Municipal (Peru) - National runners-up of 1947
- Nacional (Uruguay) - National champions of 1947
- River Plate (Argentina) - National champions of 1947
- Vasco da Gama (Brazil) - Rio de Janeiro champions of 1947 (undefeated)
