The South African cricket team in England in 1912 played 37 first-class matches. The team took part in the 1912 Triangular Tournament involving England and Australia. The teams played six Tests, three against each opponent.
South Africa fared badly in the Triangular Tournament, losing four of its six matches and managing just two draws against the weakened Australian team. England won the tournament by winning one and drawing two of its Tests against Australia.
England v South Africa :
- [ 1st Test] (Lord's Cricket Ground) – England won by an innings and 62 runs
- [ 2nd Test] (Headingley Stadium) – England won by 174 runs
- [ 3rd Test] (The Oval) – England won by 10 wickets
Australia v South Africa :
- [ 1st Test] (Old Trafford Cricket Ground) – Australia won by an innings and 88 runs
- [ 2nd Test] (Lord's Cricket Ground) – Australia won by 10 wickets
- [ 3rd Test] (Trent Bridge) – match drawn
