Sounds of Then (This is Australia) is a 1985 song by Australian band GANGgajang.
The song is the most popular released by the band and reached its peak popularity when it was used as the Nine Network's station ID in 1996. The song had originally sold 120,000 copies on its initial release in 1985.
The song is widely considered to be one of the best songs written about Australian culture.
