Afrika Bambaataas ensemble who helped established hip-hop with songs such as Planet Rock and are responsiable for the birth of the electro movement in America and helped paved the way for modern dance music such as Techno, House etc and sub hip-hop genres such as electro-funk and electro-hop.

Members of The Soulsonic Force are Mr Big, Bow Wow and MC Globe.

Most well-known songs are Planet Rock, Looking For The Perfect Beat and Renegades Of Funk which is one of the earliest political-conscious rap songs alongside Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Fives The Message.

Their LP is called Planet Rock - The Album which was released in 1986.
