Soulful (Dionne Warwick album)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Soulful was a 1969 release on Scepter Records by Dionne Warwick. This was the first of her Scepter albums to not directly involve her longtime production and songwriting team of Burt Bacharach and Hal David. This LP was produced by Dionne and Chips Moman, and appeared as number 573 in the Scepter Catalog.

The album featured cover versions of several R&B hits of the day, among them "Do Right Man, Do Right Woman", "Hey, Jude" and "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling". The latter was actually extracted for single release, and became a hit for Warwick.
