Soul Converged Communications (ASX: SOT), trading as Soul, is an Australian telecommunications company based in Newcastle. Washington H. Soul Pattinson holds a 44.5% stake in the company. Soul's main activities revolve around telecommunications, with business and home and small business divisions. Soul has rapidly expanded since acquiring Australia's highest rating television station NBN Television from its parent company Washington H. Soul Pattinson. By mid-2004 it had acquired the assets of rival IP carrier Comindico. In April 2005 Soul bought a 42.9% stake in mobile phone company B Digital. In September 2006 Soul increased its stake in B Digital to 74.6% and made a full takeover offer.
