[edit] Appearance

I don't think it should be said that Sorcermon and Wizardmon are based in Gandalf or White/Black Mages. I think it would be better if we put they were based in RPG wizards in general. -- Idiota Invisível 02 May, 2006

Good point. Total WP:OR. I'm going to nix the entire section. Circeus 21:39, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
I put a note on the appearance of Sorcerymon to Gandalf the White by fans. While it could be a concidence, I should point out while Frontier was being produced, the Lord of the Rings movies were coming out and Wizardmon of Adventure does remind one alot of Gandalf, it's not that hard for the fans to put one and one togtether and make two. --Eldarone 01:20, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
It's just a concidence.. the only thing similar about them is they're both wizards.. Sorcermon is just an aternative Wizardmon, and Wizardmon was made before the LotR movies came out. -- Ned Scott 04:55, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
Also, the statement contains weasel words. -- Ned Scott 05:47, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
Oh, I don't know, it's just more than concidence that he's a beeter dressed, white version of Wizardmon, who just happens to sacrifice himself like the greater known wizard, makes an appears just when the Two Towers was being produced, and just happens to be protecting a Agngel, I don't seem like a concidence. Can you prove to the contary that Sorcerymon is not a reference to Gandalf the White? And if there's a NPOV problem, change it so it is Npov. I'm just saying there is more than enough data that just points out Socerymon may not just be some concidence. --Eldarone 16:30, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
Eh, looks to me like that 'protecting an Angel' and 'sacrificing himself' thing is just a mirror of the original Wizardmon. (Gatomon's Digivolution was Angewomon.) And as for Gandalf the Grey/White thing... Wizardmon of Adventure never seemed to be like Gandalf. He's not particularly super-wise (Gatomon lost her memory, so if Myotismon hadn't brainwashed her, she'd know more than Wizardmon), and he doesn't LOOK like Gandalf (Looks more like a [Japanese?] imagining of a Middle-Ages sorcerer). Err, could you please find references for this? 169.229.121.94 01:35, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
There's no NPOV problem at all, but there is a problem of both weasel words and lack of Verifiability. Wikipedia:Verifiability says "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth." -- Ned Scott 19:17, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
