[edit] Anime vs Manga Plot?

I've watched the first series of the anime, but has anyone read the manga enough to know if it's similar? The current character descriptions don't match the first season of the anime. Sosei 12:23, 28 September 2006 (UTC)

The plot in the manga spans through several smaller plots rather than a one large one, like in the first anime series. In the manga, the tale of Bloody August and the Sword of Baltanders is more like a mini-arc that spans through only a little bit more than a volume of the manga. It has a lot less details and backstory than in the anime series, forcing one to assume that some details were created to extend the plot of the anime. However, let someone else go into the subject.
