Sophie McDonnell was a presenter for CBBC until 2006. She was in Precious, the UK entry for the Eurovision Song Contest in 1999.

Sophie was born on 3 February 1976 (1980 on IMDB, incorrectly) in Preston, Lancashire and worked as a model and actress before joining girl band Precious. Sophie played roles in Emmerdale and Cold Feet.

In the summer of 2005 she presented as a guest for 2 weeks the BBC's flagship Saturday morning programme The Saturday Show. She presented in-vision links on the CBBC channel up until summer 2006, and now presents The Big Toe Radio Show on BBC7. She can also be seen presenting 50/50 on CBBC.
