- The following discussion is an archived debate of the proposed deletion of a fair use image as a replaceable image. Please do not modify it.
The result of the debate was to Delete the image.
The person who added this tag appears to be on a fair-use rampage, with little or no understanding of the fair use rules. (See numerous complaints on the user's talk page). Promotional photos released for the purpose of promoting artists are entirely within the fair use guidelines, as well as Wikipedia guidelines.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jenolen (talk • contribs) 18:27, November 10, 2006 (UTC-6)
- I perfectly understand the fair use rules. Please look more closely at the tag. There's no dispute that this is fair use. The point is that we shouldn't be using a fair use image at all for this person. Fair use images are a last resort. (Also, when you are looking more closely at the tag, please note the part that says "do not delete this tag".)—Chowbok ☠ 03:26, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
Jenolen, do you dispute the statement that it's possible to create a free alternative for this image? You should add your thoughs here or remove the disputed tag. --Abu Badali 17:55, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
