Talk:Sonopuncture
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This page could use help from someone who can add the "trademark" symbol to "Acutonics." I tried unsuccessfully. Also, the external link goes to a page on my own web site. If this is inappropriate, let me know, as I am a bit new here. Also, the photos on this page of mine could be added to the wiki, such as the picture with my foot on the sonopuncture page, and the picture of the tuning fork on the tuning fork page. I don't know how to do this, though. Help appreciated! Thanks! heidimo 04:34, 6 Jan 2004 (UTC)
- Never mind about the photos, I learned how to do it and added them myself. heidimo 05:39, 20 Jan 2004 (UTC)
hi, why isn't it called sonopressure? sunja 14:12, 19 Feb 2004 (UTC)
- Don't know. "Phonophorese" is more accurate, but nobody uses it. "Acutonics" is used more commonly, but it is a trademarked name. heidimo 15:43, 19 Feb 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Copy edits
I've had to edit this one down pretty extensively. It was too credulous, and didn't adequately address the novelty of the technique, IMO. Fire Star 15:53, 10 Oct 2004 (UTC)
[edit] A440 "Arbitrary"?
The fact that the authors of the article deem the international standard for A above Middle C to be "arbitrary", while the sonopuncture tuning forks are "tuned towards the harmony and balance of the Solar System" is ridiculous at best, and misleading at worst. On what basis do they make this assertion? --OneTopJob6 01:19, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
