This article needs much more information and perhaps reduced attention to the once controversial flag issue. --WCFrancis 17:05, 15 May 2005 (UTC)

I don't know about the rest of the country, but the flag issue is still fairly controversial anywhere in Georgia outside Atlanta.12.150.117.30 21:50, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Need More infomation about his switch in political parties as senator.

[edit] Editorializing

I have a problem with the following:

"In education, Perdue has focused on returning decision-making to the local level, unraveling the progress in education reform made by his predecessor."

To say Perdue reversed many Roy Barnes policies might be a statement of fact. To say he unraveled progress is stating an opinion which has no place in a reference resource. 72.155.47.183 04:49, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

No citation, and editoralizing based on an uncited poll: Perdue Sinks in the Latest Polls: Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue (R) is in for a tough reelection battle. According to a new Rasmussen Reports poll, Perdue’s lead over Secretary of State Cathy Cox (D) has almost evaporated to within just 6 points, 48% to 42%, after leading by as many as 21 points two months ago.

 +
+ Perdue's tax increases and education failures are taking their toll on his approval ratings.

[edit] Needs A Warning Flag

This page is violating the NPOV Statutes, and needs a warning flag and some cleanup. Kagurae 07:48, 2 July 2006 (UTC)Kagurae
The following was moved from User talk:Viridae:The primary issue with the Sonny Perdue page is the amount of editorializing that has been found. The first piece that tipped things off was the mention of local control involving schools, in paragraph 4 (I believe). Specifically of note was the statement that Perdue was not getting in the way of the legislature involving extra paperwork for homosexual clubs. I wouldn't have thought it serious, but the language that was used seemed to be very editorial in nature.

The second issue that I was going to bring up was the issue of cleanup involving the article. It seems to look more messy. Being as I have had issues trying to clean up such pages, I would have figured to put up a "clean up banner" would have helped.

Anyhow, since everything has been resolved, I have no need to worry about it. Thank you for taking the time to help. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 128.223.194.94 (talkcontribs). ViridaeTalk 07:51, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Democraps

Somebody keeps changing Roy Barnes' picture to nonsense, and it immediately (usually within 5 minutes) gets reverted. According to history here, Sonny Perdue's picture was changes to that stupid Boss Hogg picture well over 6 hours ago and has not been reverted. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 85.25.140.160 (talk) 23:49, 17 March 2007 (UTC).

Feel free to fix it yourself - see Wikipedia:Revert. There are 1.6 million articles on Wikipedia to watch for vandalism, and no one here is paid to do so; we do the best we can. Also, I don't think editors from any political party condone vandalism. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 02:07, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Squidbillies

Is the Squidbillies mention really appropriate here? I vote no.
