Sons of Butcher (band)

Sons of Butcher is a Canadian rock band consisting of three members, two of whom are brothers. Their band alter-egos are the focus of an animated television series developed by S&S Productions.
The members are:
- Dave Dunham (Sol Butcher), guitar/vocals
- Trevor Ziebarth (Ricky Butcher), guitar/lead vocals
- Jay Ziebarth (Doug Borski), bass/vocals
Jay Ziebarth refers to himself as "Zeebarf" or Jay Z through e-mails.
Dunham previously provided drums and vocals for the band Chore prior to their splitting in 2004. He and Trevor worked together to write the music for the animated series.
Trevor and Jay were both background Zombies in the Canadian Feature film "Zombie Night". Trevor was credited as Zombie 58, and Jay as Zombie 29.
Trevor also appears in the Canadian Feature film "PiGS" as a flower delivery man.
In the animated series there is no steady drummer, perhaps as a reference to This Is Spinal Tap. The band has now found a permanent drummer named Christal Ballz, who is apparently non-verbal.
