Sonja Aldén

Sonja Aldén, born 20 December 1977 in St Albans, England, United Kingdom, is a Swedish singer mostly famous for her 2006 Melodifestivalen entry "Etymon" and her ability to write songs for other artists, like for the hard rock/heavy metal band The Poodles, who also participated in the Swedish Melodifestivalen 2006. In the Swedish Melodifestivalen 2007, Sonja Aldén participated with the ballad "För att du finns", which reached "andra chansen" ("the second chance") when it finished 4th in the semifinal in Örnsköldsvik on 17 February 2007.

On the 3rd of March 2007, the song qualified for the Melodifestivalen 2007 final on the 10th of March 2007 in the Stockholm Globe Arena.

The song placed sixth in the Melodifestivalen 2007 final.
