Sonia Orin Lyris

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sonia Orin Lyris lives in the state of Oregon in the United States, and is the author of a number of Science Fiction and Fantasy stories published in various professional magazines and anthologies. She has published fiction for Wizards of the Coast, Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine, and Pulphouse.

In 1996 she co-founded eMarket Group, Ltd., an online merchandise company, whose credentials include many well-known clients such as Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Variety Magazine, and Entertainment Weekly. She continues work with eMarket Group as Executive Vice President. Having well over 20 years of industry experience, she also helped to build the systems for e-commerce sites zat.com and the Viz store.

Ms. Lyris' writing has been inhibited in recent years due to her executive responsibilities. She expresses this change with regret on her website, but hopes to get back to writing for publication some day soon.
