Songs About My Cats is a 2001 IDM album by Venetian Snares. It is also his first solo album on the Planet Mu label; Making Orange Things, released barely one month prior to Songs About My Cats on Planet Mu, was a collaboration with Speedranch.

Embedded within the last track, Look, are several pictures of Aaron's cats. The images can be viewed directly with a spectrum analyzer; a capture of the embedded images, as well as similar images from the music of Aphex Twin, are viewable here [1].

Venetian Snares' songs typically possess a 7/4 time signature, however none of the tracks on this album do. The sixth track on the CD release — Breakfast Time for Baboons — is in 10/4 along with Pouncelciot, Nepetalactone is in 9/4 (4/4 + 5/4) and Fluff Master is in 11/4.
