"Songbird" is the second single from Bernard Fanning's solo debut album Tea and Sympathy, released in 2005, this album won the ARIA award for Album Of The Year in 2006.
This song captures the amazing fiddle playing of multi-instrumentalist and fellow band member John "Frodo" Bedggood. The clip for Songbird was shot recently by Head Pictures (Sarah Blasko, End Of Fashion, and of course Wish You Well) in a grand Queenslander in Brisbane's inner suburbs.[1]
It reached number 11 on National Airplay Charts in January, 2006[2], and was voted number 14 on Triple J Hottest 100 of 2005.
