Son of Solstice is the first Artefact album, recorded at Kallaghan’s studio (from the groupe Sikh) in 2002. It is now produced by Rupture Music. The cover art work is produced by Guillaume Vrac (Aldebaran). The album was released on 2002. In this first opus, Artefact displays a strong taste for long and rich compositions, with changing tempos and mystical moods, where black forces, nature, chaos and harmony play a main part. Riffs are heavy styled, melodical and technically difficult, vocals quite deep and guttural [1].
