[edit] in-Merger of "Octreotide"

I've taken the "Octreotide" article and brought it into this one. I did this for two reasons. First, as a method for clearing a Template:bio-stub. Second, and more importantly, because it provides an immediate context for the drug; as it mimics somatostatin, having it in the context of somatostatin makes sense to me. If you (other editors) do not agree with this, I would ask that you not separate the two concepts unless you are going to add substantially more information to the "Octreotide" article so that it can stand as a non-stub article. [edit] No mention of Lanreotide

I would advise adding a section about Lanreotide http://www.dundee.ac.uk/medther/tayendoweb/lanreotide.htm
