Somos Los Hijos Del Rock (1987) is Menudo's 23rd album (16th in Spanish).
It features Ricky Martin, Raymond Acevedo, Sergio Gonzalez, and new members Ralphy Rodriguez and Ruben Gomez. Ralphy replaced Charlie Rivera as management decided it was time to let Charlie go at the age of 17. Ruben Gomez replaced Robby Rosa as Robby became the second member ever to quit the band before his time was due. Management would have kept Robby in the band for a while longer but he was already 17 and wanted to move on.
