Something to Talk About (written by Canadian singer-songwriter Shirley Eikhard) is a song from the American, Grammy Award-winning guitarist and singer-songwriter Bonnie Raitt that was popular in the 1990s. The song was popular on multiple formats of radio: the blues feel of the song helped the song peak at Number 5 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary chart, the guitar solo helped the song peak in the Top 20 of Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, and the success of the songs on both of the previously mentioned charts, along with a good number of sales, helped the song "Something to Talk About" peak at Number Five on the Billboard Hot 100. The song is among one of Bonnie Raitt's most popular songs, along with "I Can't Make You Love Me"
