[edit] Details
- Among fans, this is often referred to as "the lost Carpenter film" due to its scarce availability on VHS or DVD. While no official release has been made, bootleg copies show up periodically on Ebay.
- It is worth noting that this was the first time Carpenter worked with Adrienne Barbeau, who he married in 1979. Barbeau later starred in The Fog (1980) and had a supporting role in Escape from New York (1981).
- John Carpenter was nominated for the 1979 Edgar Award of Best Television Feature or Miniseries for this film.
